Good on Dr Syd Millar, chairman of the International Rugby Board for blasting Serge Blanco's role in the demise of the Heineken Cup.
All his life Blanco's been used to nothing other than plaudits and admiration, but the former full-back genius has trampled over the interests of the wider European game by leading the French boycott of the Heineken Cup.
It's indeed rare for someone in Millar's position to issue such a venomous condemnation of an individual.
But that makes it refreshing.
As Millar says, Blanco has shown a lack of respect for other nations - and the English clubs have been spineless too.
What do you think?

Spot on, DP: my very sentiments. I am amused by people (Davies from Sarries) trying to dismiss him by using the phrase 'grandfather of the game' as if this is derogatory; 'tantrum?!' I think Millar is speaking for the vast majority of Northerm Hemisphere rugby fans, admin bods and players. 'Godfather' more like.
